MMB’s George Goetz, Chris Poulin and Mike Michaud worked with Kevin on the edit and finishing of this Subway spot. Even if you squint, you won’t notice the rebuild we did to the front end of the SUV (new grill and headlights). Peter Darley Miller @Radical Media directed the live action; David Deahl at Big Deahl Productions directed tabletop. This is a story about people, young and old, who want it all. I can relate, can you?
McDonald's "Love"
McDonald’s is touting the limited time only sandwich that has swept hearts and stomachs alike, the McRib. As you can imagine, Collin’s mouth watered for the entirety of the edit. The savory sandwich has a cult following and this Arnold Worldwide spot, called (appropriately) “Love”, says it all.
Buick Energy Flow
Digitas enlisted our help with creating an online video to help launch the Buick Regal 2011. Art director Julie Halloran, copywriter James Hough and producers Brian Smith and Ben Raynes were our collaborators in this quest to highlight the Regal in a new and exciting way. After a few creative calls we were armed with car footage and quotes about the vehicle; Kevin Moore cut it up and created a fast-paced edit to drive the piece. Then to push the energy and bring it to the next level, our friends at Toil designed the overall look and created a dynamic 3D environment. They employed several techniques to achieve the aesthetic they were going for; match-moving, modeling, compositing, among others. Animated “energy ribbons” that replaced the roads wove throughout and drove the story, showcasing the new Buick model as a beautiful, sporty car. The result is a fast-paced, high-energy piece that excites. As you’ll see!
PerkStreet Financial
This new spot produced for Blitz Media was written and designed by creative team Bob Fitzgerald and Melanie Lloyd. Production was a pairing of Redtree and Republic, with Bob and Melanie co-directing the spot and Patrick Ruth as DP. For us, it was an exercise in fun. The “talent” was a host of miniatures that allowed us to play up the kitschy feel by adding graphics (little “sparkles” or “glints”) to enhance the look. Kevin edited the spot and enjoyed the journey - the tone goes from the dark world of being in debt to the empowered, positive vibe of spending within your means and being rewarded for doing so. Enjoy!
Discover Card
Recently, VIA partnered with Filmaka, a global community of filmmakers, to promote a $1 million giveaway from Discover Card. From that endeavor came four short films, pieces of branded entertainment for online use. This film, “Cash or Credit”, was directed by Matt Pulliam and edited by Kevin here at Accomplice. Kevin worked closely with VIA CCO Greg Smith, EP Mary Hanifin and New Media and Production Director Sven Fahlgren to tell the story of a customer who considers paying with Discover Card vs. cash. The result may make you think twice the next time you make a seemingly small decision!
Dexter ARG
Modernista! had the challenge of creating this Alternate Reality Game for the hit Showtime drama, Dexter. In this completely original project, the team of creatives: Davi Liu, Xavier Teo, Rochelle Raiss, Adrian Alexander, Lorelei Bandrovschi, Tony Fruscienate along with Director of Production Liz Shook, and associate producer Matt Marty, spent a few months hiding clues, creating suspense and entertaining Dexter fans across the country. The 22-minute finale was edited by Collin; there were actually two end scenarios that the audience ultimately decided between. Over the course of three days while Collin edited, Team Accomplice composited, color corrected and assisted with editorial. Throughout, it was amazing to hear of the stories and the amount of effort put forth by the M! team to pull this off. Kudos to all of them for originality and truly interesting content.
