It’s amazing how much we rely on our smart phones. BEAM creatives Josh Deane, Christine Pilsbury and Michael Gilday, along with producers Sean Will & Cyndie Ellis, tapped us for this Virgin Mobile project. In this online demo for Virgin Mobile, we spend a day in the life of a woman and her phone. Jon Mercer cut the fast-paced piece that simply doesn’t stop…just like real life. Director Aaron Frutman of DGA Productions shot this on the RED, with the background plates shot on the 5D. This project was all about interaction. To make the phone and it’s features feel like a natural extension of the narrative, the background plates, green screened hand, and comped-in phone screen were all carefully choreographed by Jon and our compositing team at Accomplice. Watching it makes me appreciate the ease of life and increased productivity we now have thanks to these phones; it also makes me want to take a nap.
Brand Content creative team Tom Kelly and Jim Bizier, along with freelance producer Ben Raynes, recently brought over a project for Keurig. Kevin cut this in-store demo video (for Target) that sings the praises of brewing a fresh cup of iced coffee from a Keurig coffeemaker. Toil contributed the graphics. We think it’ll make you want to be poolside. Now.
It was an honor to work with RDW for their client, CL&P, a premier sponsor of the Special Olympics Connecticut Winter Games. ECD/Partner Jeff Patch and freelance producer Alyson Singer joined forces with Kevin on this spot that features athletes as they savor moments in the competition. Director Jimmy Collins at MacGuffin Films captured the scenes of joy and determination. Victory is theirs.
